Hello! My name is Meghan Berg, and I have been teaching at Blakely since 2016. I am originally from Colorado but moved to Washington for college. I attended Western Washington University, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Outdoor Education. I worked as an outdoor educator, paraprofessional, and teaching assistant before I returned to school at Seattle University to get my Masters in Teaching.

I met my husband, Christian, while at school in Bellingham. He grew up on the island and we always knew we wanted to return here. We have two amazing daughters, Lucy and Eva. They keep us busy and on our toes, but we love raising our family in this community. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time in our garden, cooking and exploring this beautiful area we live in.

I'm looking forward to this year and am honored that I get to be your child's kindergarten teacher!
