FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Blakely Families,

The last week of May, wow, I can’t believe how fast this year has gone! Fourth grade had a fabulous time at Outdoor Education at Lake Crescent. A big thanks to staff for all of their planning and chaperones for their tireless efforts to support all students.

Fourth grade completed SBA last week and third grade will complete this week. A big shout out for our students for truly giving their best during this time of year.

Blakely will be presenting on Thursday at the School Board meeting. We will be discussing what makes Blakely special, so if you can tune it we would appreciate it.

Once again, thank you to families, staff and students for making Blakely an exceptional l place.

Warm regards,

Reese Ande

2024-2025 SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS

END OF  YEAR REMINDERS

Are you moving over the summer?

If you are not returning to BISD schools, please contact Kyanne Hawkins in the office at 206-780-2060 to let us know your plans!

This helps us with enrollment and placement. Thanks for your help.

Are you missing a coat?  Lunch box?  Water Bottle?
Our lost and found is overflowing.  Please remind your student to check the lost and found in the entry hall.  If anything has a name on it we will return to the student.  All remaining items will be donated at the end of the school year.

PTO NEWS

The Blakely PTO Art Sale is here!

Blakely has a long tradition of holding an art sale each year. This year each Blakely student made a unique piece of art with the help of our Art teacher, Katie Bonanno. The Blakely PTO has framed them and are offering these one-of-a-kind pieces to sell and help support our school. For $50 you can receive your child’s framed art plus a poster displaying all grade level art.

Please note since these are original pieces of art, we only have one per child available for purchase.

If the cost of your student's art is prohibitive, please reach out to Kyanne Hawkins. We want all families to have access to their student's art.

The art will be sent home with your student on June 7th.

Order art HERE!

Eagle Harbor Book Fair

Stop by Eagle Harbor Bookstore on June 5th, anytime between 4-6pm. 10% of all sales will be donated to the Blakely PTO. Need ideas for summer reading? We will have lists from our teachers available for summer reading ideas, refreshments and fun activities for the kids! We look forward to seeing you there.
