I love my job!!!!! I have a BA in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento. I received my Teaching Certificate (Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education Endorsements) and Masters in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College.

My family and I have lived on Bainbridge Island for 36 years. My daughter, Blair, and my son Drew attended Blakely Elementary from Kindergarten to fifth grade! Blair and her partner, Sam, have two sons, one named Gideon who turns 11 on Halloween, Tobias 8, and a daughter named Matilda who is 3 years old! Drew is married to Blakely's wonderful first grade teacher, Amanda!!!!!!

I live with my identical twin sister, Katherine, and our dog Jupiter!

My favorite thing to do is to READ. I love to travel and have visited many schools around the world. I really like to camp and hike, and also enjoy cozy activities like knitting (I make hats that look like vegetables), sewing quilts, and baking cookies. My ALL-TIME favorite thing to do is to get up each morning, drive 1 mile to work, and hang out with the best crowd imaginable.....KINDERGARTNERS!!!!
