Conference Sign Ups

Conferences are around the corner!

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held next week on Thursday, October 31 and Friday, November 1 both in-person and via Zoom.

Please Sign-up for Conferences through Skyward Family Access.

NOTE: There is no school on October 31 and November 1 due to Fall Conferences.

If you need assistance signing-up, please contact your student's teacher or Kyanne Hawkins @ 206-780-2060 or KHawkins@bisd303.org.

Blakely Jog-A-Thon Fundraiser

Blakely Jog-A-Thon is THIS FRIDAY!

Fundraising for the Blakely Jog-A-Thon roughly halfway toward our goal with THIRD GRADE in the lead and SECOND GRADE hot on their heels!

Blakely counts on PTO funding. Give anytime before Friday, October 25th so we can continue to have Jog-A-Thon be the ONLY fundraiser for the year!

Ensure your teachers have funding to cover the costs of supplies for their classroom.
Provide enrichment opportunities via field trips, guest speakers, assemblies, author visits, and after school activities!
Contribute to the “Good Neighbor Fund” so every student has access to spirit wear, school pictures, and supplies - giving teachers and staff the ability to ensure no student is left out.

3rd & 4th Grade After School Multi-Sports Club Mondays

WHEN: Mondays, November 4 - December 16 (6 sessions, no meeting November 11), 12:50 pm - 2:20 pm
WHERE: Blakely Gymnasium
COST: $95 - Please make checks payable to Henry Guterson and either have your student bring them to the first session or you can leave them in the PTO Treasurer mailbox in the office.
Pre-k through 2nd grade families looking for an after school sports club, feel free to refer to Coach Henry’s website for his fall offerings.

Tuesday After School Chess Club

WHEN: Tuesdays, October 29 - December 10 (6 sessions, no meeting on November 26), 2:20 pm - 4:00 pm
WHERE: Blakely Commons
COST: $120 - Please make checks payable to Mark Cohen and either have your student bring them to the first session or you can leave them in the PTO Treasurer mailbox in the office.
SCHOLARSHIP: Mark is happy to give scholarships by request, email: bainbridgechess@gmail.com

Feedback RE: BISD's Permanent Superintendent

In late September, School Board President Mark Emerson and Vice President Kelly Cancialosi shared a message about the hiring process for the permanent BISD superintendent.

The Board wants your feedback! You can provide input through this Parents/Guardians/Community Survey. In addition, a community meeting open to all will be held on November 7 at 5:45 p.m. in the Board Room.

Blakely School Directory

Fostering community at Blakely is important to the social and emotional development of our students. Connect with other families via the Student Directory found in Skyward. You can decide which information is shared on your profile. Skyward defaults to Opt- out so you must Join to have your information shared with others. Instructions on how to do this is FOUND HERE.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found is overflowing! Please ask your student to check. All lost and found will be donated after Fall Conferences at the end of the day on November 1st. If there is a name we will reunite with its owner.
